Hj Osman Hj Md Jair | Chairman
Hj Osman Hj Md Jair is the Managing Director of Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd (IIT), a wholly subsidiary of Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB), Brunei Darussalam. Subsequently, he is also holding the post as the Managing Director to IIT’s subsidiaries; Insurans Islam TAIB General Takaful Sdn Bhd and Insurans Islam TAIB Family Takaful Sdn Bhd.
He joined IIT in August 2000, directed by its parent company, Perbadanan TAIB and was given the responsibility to head and manage the subsidiary company.
Prior to joining IIT, Osman was the Research & Development Manager of Perbadanan TAIB from 1996 where he was responsible for the business development of their financial services portfolio.
Osman began his career in the Savings Deposits Operations Department with Perbadanan TAIB in 1991 and then moved to the Credit & Financing Department of the same Islamic financial institution in 1993 to concentrate on the growing retail financing portfolio up to 1996. Currently, Osman is the Chairman for Brunei Insurance & Takaful Association (BITA) for the year 2014 – 2015.
Osman holds an MBA in Risk & Insurance Management from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and was attending the Brunei Institute of Technology (ITB) studying Business and Finance.

Amin, who holds a Senior Associate (General Insurance) from ANZIIF and Diploma in Life Insurance from Australian Insurance Institute (AII), joined National Insurance Company Berhad (NICB) in September 1989. Prior to joining NICB, he started his career in insurance industry in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Although his hometown is Johor, Malaysia, he is very much at home in Brunei since he is married to a Bruneian and has 7 children and a holder of permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam status. He is an outgoing person and is active in indoor and outdoor sports.

Barudin Haji Kudil is the General Manager of Takaful Brunei AM Sdn Bhd. has been in the takaful/insurance industry for twenty two (22) years focusing on General Takaful or Non Life business. He has vast experience on General takaful or Non-Life products underwriting, retakaful/ reinsurance and claim management. He leads Takaful Brunei AM Sdn Bhd's Specialize Risk team that handled and managed the Energy, Aviation and Marine Business.
Prior to his appointment as the General Manager on 1st January 2017, he assumed a position as Acting General Manager since 1st January 2015. He previously hold the post of Deputy General Manager since 1st October 2010 and Head of General Takaful Division since February 2002. He has been with Takaful Brunei AM Sdn Bhd. since 1995.
Siti Zulaikha Hj Awg Damit | Assistant Secretary
Dayang Siti Zulaikha binti Haji Awang Damit is the Financial Controller of AIC. Her key role is to manage the Finance and Accounting Department by ensuring the financial and accounting matters of AIC are in orderly manner.
Siti is also assigned to manage and monitor the Global & Corporate portfolios under the Operation Department. Besides, Siti is appointed as an Interim Compliance Officer and also involves in the Corporate & Strategy matters of AIC.
She joined AIC on 1st March 2007 graduated in BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management from Sheffield University, United Kingdom.
Currently, Siti is also elected to be the first Treasurer of BITA.
Lim Charng Hui | Treasurer

Charng Hui joined Great Eastern Lifein January 2016 as the Finance and Administration Manager. His key role is to oversee the financial operations as well as the administrative function of the company.
Prior to joining Great Eastern Life, Charng Hui spent over 5 years as an Auditor with a local audit firm. He has audited the financial statements of companies from various industries ranging from consumer goods such as wholesalers and retailers, construction, motor and business associations as well as remittance and money changer enterprises.
